Theherbarium is a fictitious reconstruction of a herbarium that could be that of the Congolese greenhouses of Laeken (Belgium). It is a direct reaction to the inaccessibility of the Laeken greenhouses year-round, the confinement, the non-registration of the plants, the colonial history of the building and Anna Safiatou's interest in the plant as a political and living element conveying stories.
