« Nénima is a sensory ballad between my mother's stories about the Mali of my birth and the fantasy world I have built for myself over time. The spoken language is dgéba; a mixture of words and sounds from elsewhere. It is an invitation to travel in an ambiguous space, at the border of reality, perhaps the space of the child in the womb, full of sounds, atmospheres, diffuse images lived from the inside."
